Taking stock of our efforts<\/h3>\n

Our major fundraiser ended on June 30 with the auction. The time has come to tally up the total!
\nWe’re proud to say that following the sale of meal boxes, donations and partnerships, we will be able to redistribute more than $82,000 in proceeds to the community.<\/p>\n

This latest achievement would not have been possible without the involvement of the Foundation’s friends, partners, and employees.<\/p>\n

We look forward to seeing you next year, in person (fingers crossed), for the 10th anniversary of the AGF Group Foundation!<\/p>\n

Initiative by our ambassadors<\/h3>\n

For World Environment Day in June, Maryam, one of our Markham ambassadors, rallied her coworkers behind an initiative: “I care about my environment.” During this week-long event, everyone was invited to do their part to protect the environment.<\/p>\n

The activities, which ranged from cleaning up yards and picking up trash to planting flowers and trees, were also an
\nopportunity to raise funds for the World Wildlife Fund<\/a>, an organization that works to protect endangered regions and species.<\/p>\n

La hora de la evaluación<\/h3>\n

Nuestra principal actividad de recaudación de fondos terminó el 30 de junio con la subasta. ¡Ha
\nllegado el momento de evaluar la situación!
\nNos enorgullece poder decir que gracias a la venta de cajas de productos delicatesen, a los donativos y a las asociaciones podremos redistribuir en la comunidad más de 82 000 CAD de beneficios.
\nEste nuevo éxito no podría ser posible sin la implicación de los amigos de la Fundación, los socios y los empleados.
\nNos vemos el año que entra, en presencial (crucemos los dedos), ¡para festejar los diez años de la Fundación Grupo AGF!<\/p>\n

Iniciativa de nuestros embajadores<\/h3>\n

El pasado junio, con motivo del día del medio ambiente, Maryam, una de nuestras embajadoras de Markham, reunió a sus colegas en torno a una iniciativa: “Me preocupo por mi medioambiente”.
\nLa iniciativa duró una semana durante la cual todos fueron invitados a actuar en favor de la protección del medioambiente. Las iniciativas fueron numerosas: limpieza de los patios, recolección de basura, plantación de flores y de árboles.
\nEstas actividades también ofrecieron la oportunidad de recaudar fondos para el organismo WWF, el cual lucha por la preservación de regiones y espacios salvajes en riesgo.<\/p>\n
