Over the course of a long career, we meet many people. Some are forgotten, while others will be missed. In my case, over the past 20 years, I’ve had the good fortune to work with Gilbert Blais, a passionate messenger. Over the years, Gilbert has been there, rain or shine. From road work to traffic, he knows the greater Montreal area like the back of his hand.<\/p>\n

Behind the wheel of his trusty Ford Focus, he has always—and I stress the word always—performed his duties impeccably. He’s never late, has never gotten a ticket and above all, has never had an accident.<\/p>\n

Beyond his career, Gilbert has also proudly represented AGF Group. We all know he’s outspoken but above all, he’s loyal and dedicated. He’s been a true role model for me and many other employees.<\/p>\n

Ever enthusiastic about performing his duties, Gilbert announced at the beginning of the summer that he would be hanging up his car keys for a well-deserved retirement.<\/p>\n

It’s often said that no one is irreplaceable, but as far as I am concerned, my dear Gilbert, we won’t be able to replace you, because you’re one of a kind!<\/p>\n

A lo largo de nuestra carrera, frecuentamos numerosas personas. Olvidamos a muchas, pero vamos a extrañar a otras. En mi caso, durante los últimos veinte años tuve la suerte de trabajar con Gilbert Blais, un comisionista apasionado. A través de los años, Gilbert estuvo presente en las buenas y en las malas. Las obras viales, la circulación y la gran región metropolitana no tenían ningún secreto para él.<\/p>\n

Al volante de su eficiente Ford Focus, siempre, e insisto en la palabra “siempre”, ejecutó sus tareas de manera impecable. Ningún retraso, ninguna multa y, sobre todo, ningún accidente.<\/p>\n

Más allá de su trayecto, Gilbert supo igualmente representar orgullosamente a Grupo AGF. Conocido por todos por su franqueza, pero sobre todo por su lealtad y su entrega, fue para mí y para muchos otros empleados, un modelo como colega de trabajo. Siempre determinado a cumplir con sus funciones con entusiasmo, al inicio del verano Gilbert nos anunció que dejaba a un lado las llaves de su auto, para una jubilación bien merecida.<\/p>\n

Con frecuencia decimos que nadie es irremplazable, pero para mí, en lo que concierne a mi estimado Gilbert, ¡no podremos reemplazarte porque eres único!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
