Katherina Beck and Mehdi Kaid Slimane<\/strong><\/h3>\n

We would like to congratulate Katherina Beck, Business Intelligence and Technological Watch Director and Mehdi Kaid Slimane, Analyst – IT Operations and Services, for their remarkable contribution to the project to implement scanners and Touch Trackers in the Armabec and Acier AGF plants in Longueuil.<\/p>\n

Katherina was responsible for planning the digitization of production in our plants. In collaboration with a consultant from aSa, Mehdi then installed all the equipment at the operators’ workstations to track our steel production digitally. He also trained the teams at both plants during the week of August 8, 2021, with support from Makram Saadi, Operational Efficiency Manager.<\/p>\n

Céline De Oliveira and Stéphane Rivard <\/strong><\/h3>\n

Stéphane Rivard, Eng. Quality and Execution Performance Director and Céline De Oliveira, Health and Safety Manager – Quebec’ Divisions spent several weeks developing and implementing a new traffic plan for the offices and plants in Longueuil to make the pedestrian crossings safer. They worked in collaboration with the Operations Department to come up with a solution that is both optimal for operations and safe for everyone. Way to go!<\/p>\n

Lionel Sampson<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Lionel Sampson, one of our rodman, was injured last February. His tasks have been adapted and he’s currently on a temporary assignment with the Health and Safety Department. Despite the situation, Lionel still gives it his all. He shows initiative, is available and always ready to help the other members of the OHS team. Thank you, Lionel, for your continued commitment to AGF.<\/p>\n

Katherina Beck y Mehdi Kaid Slimane <\/strong><\/h3>\n

Deseamos felicitar a Katherina Beck, Directora, Inteligencia de negocios e Investigación tecnológica, y Mehdi Kaid Slimane, Analista, Operaciones y Servicios de TI, por su remarcable participación en el proyecto de implantación de escáneres y Touch Trackers<\/em> en las plantas de Armabec y de Acier AGF en Longueuil.<\/p>\n

Katherina está a cargo de la planificación de la digitalización de la producción en nuestras fábricas. Mehdi, en colaboración con un asesor de aSa, posteriormente instaló todos los equipos en las inmediaciones de los puestos de trabajo de los operadores para supervisar nuestra producción de acero de forma digital. Igualmente formó a los equipos de dos fábricas durante la semana del 8 de agosto de 2021, con la colaboración de Makram Saadi, Gerente de eficacia operacional.<\/p>\n

Stéphane Rivard, Ing. (Director de calidad y Desempeño de ejecución) y Céline De Oliveira (Jefa de Servicio, Salud y Seguridad, Quebec) trabajaron durante muchas semanas para desarrollar e implantar un nuevo plan de circulación para las oficinas y las fábricas de Longueuil, con el fin de que los pasos peatonales sean más seguros. Esto fue realizado en colaboración con el Departamento de operaciones para obtener una solución a la vez óptima para las operaciones y segura para todos. ¡Felicidades!<\/p>\n

Lionel Sampson<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Lionel Sampson, uno de nuestros encargados de la elaboración de armaduras, se lastimó el pasado febrero. Su trabajo fue adaptado y en este momento está asignado temporalmente en el departamento de Salud y Seguridad. A pesar de la situación, Lionel siempre da su 100%. Demuestra iniciativa, siempre está disponible y dispuesto a ayudar a los demás miembros del equipo de SST. Gracias Lionel por tu entrega continua hacia AGF.<\/p>\n
