{"id":47824,"date":"2021-09-17T12:51:00","date_gmt":"2021-09-17T16:51:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/groupeagf.com\/en\/the-network\/uncategorized\/a-major-project-in-2022-for-agf-olympic"},"modified":"2024-05-07T15:44:21","modified_gmt":"2024-05-07T19:44:21","slug":"a-major-project-in-2022-for-agf-olympic","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/groupeagf.com\/en\/the-network\/projects\/a-major-project-in-2022-for-agf-olympic","title":{"rendered":"A major project in 2022 for AGF Olympic"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p><em>Written in collaboration with Jules Paulin, Operations Manager AGF Olympic.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Jules Paulin, General Manager of AGF Olympic, our Caraquet division, is proud to announce that they will be working from 2022 on the Coles Island Bridge replacement project.<\/p>\n<p>The Coles Island Bridge will be rebuilt and widened to two lanes, bringing it up to construction industry standards on vehicle weights while improving traffic fluidity. In addition, it will allow for increased truck payloads, resulting in fewer trips and a reduction of GHG emissions.<\/p>\n<p>The AGF Olympic team will pre-assemble the caissons for the pillars at the shop and then build the slab of the bridge at the jobsite. Two types of steel will be used for the project: 420 tons of black steel and 156 tons of stainless steel.<\/p>\n<p>We wish lots of success to the entire AGF Olympic team for this important project.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/groupeagf.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/Bandeau_version_espanola-Copy-1-53.png\" style=\"height:40px; width:475px\" title=\"\"><\/p>\n<p>Jules Paulin, Director General, AGF Olympic, nuestra divisi&oacute;n de Caraquet, tiene el orgullo de anunciarnos que desde el 2022 colaborar&aacute;n en el proyecto de reemplazo del puente <em>Coles Island.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>El puente se reconstruir&aacute; y ampliar&aacute; a dos v&iacute;as, lo que permitir&aacute; ajustarlo a las normas de la industria de la construcci&oacute;n con relaci&oacute;n al peso de los veh&iacute;culos, y mejorar el flujo de la circulaci&oacute;n. La industria de la construcci&oacute;n es un importante sector de actividades en la provincia.<\/p>\n<p>El equipo de AGF Olympic se encargar&aacute; de realizar en la f&aacute;brica el preensamblado de los casetones para las columnas y despu&eacute;s realizar&aacute; en la obra la losa del puente.
