There has long been speculation about the fate of the former CBC\/Radio-Canada tower. What was to become of this derelict building, located in an iconic Montreal neighbourhood?<\/p>\n

At long last, we know that an outstanding residential project will be built on this site.<\/p>\n

The first phase is named “Auguste & Louis,” in honour of the Lumière brothers, two engineers who played a pivotal role in the history of cinema and photography.<\/p>\n

It will include 265 residential units on 14 floors.<\/p>\n

Acier AGF will begin working on this project next spring. The current contract is for 950 tonnes of reinforcing steel.<\/p>\n

When completed, the project will comprise 10 towers.<\/p>\n

El antiguo edificio de la Maison de Radio Canada ha sido objeto de cuestionamientos. ¿Qué iba a pasar con ese inmueble, que se había convertido en un viejo edificio y se encontraba en un barrio simbólico de Montreal?<\/p>\n

Finalmente, un magnífico proyecto inmobiliario será construido en sustitución de este edificio.<\/p>\n

La primera fase se llama “Auguste et Louis” en referencia a los dos ingenieros que desempeñaron un papel primordial en la historia del cine y de la fotografía.<\/p>\n

Comprenderá 265 unidades de alojamiento en 14 pisos.<\/p>\n

El trabajo para Acier AGF iniciará la primavera próxima. El contrato actual es de 950 t de acero de refuerzo.<\/p>\n
