{"id":48002,"date":"2022-01-04T11:50:00","date_gmt":"2022-01-04T16:50:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/groupeagf.com\/en\/the-network\/uncategorized\/chimbote-highway-project-in-peru"},"modified":"2024-05-07T15:44:53","modified_gmt":"2024-05-07T19:44:53","slug":"chimbote-highway-project-in-peru","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/groupeagf.com\/en\/the-network\/projects\/chimbote-highway-project-in-peru","title":{"rendered":"Chimbote highway project in Peru"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>We start 2022 announcing that AGF Peru has been awarded to participate with the supply, cut, bend and&nbsp;installation of the rebar (1,700MT) in this emblematic project in Peru.<\/p>\n<p>A consortium led by Spanish companies Acciona and Ferrovial have won a $116m contract to build a 30km highway between the departments of Ancash and La Libertad, in northern Peru.<\/p>\n<p>The scope of work includes construction of a two-lane road that will act as an extension of the existing Pan-American Highway, three roundabouts, eight level crossings and ancillary roads, and irrigation work.<\/p>\n<p>When completed, the highway will minimise congestion and reduce travel times by 30-40 minutes in the city of Chimbote.
