We obtained the contract by mutual agreement with one of our loyal customers, G&eacute;rald Lapointe of Construction G&eacute;rald Lapointe. The 530 T project consisted in building two bases for ethanol storage tanks.<\/p>\n<p>The major issue was logistical because we had just seven days to complete the installation before the pouring. Despite the short lead time, we had to produce the drawings, we managed to limit the losses to less than 2%. Anne-Julie, Denis and Claudine worked on optimizing the cutting plans.<\/p>\n<p>Then, the challenge at the plant was to optimize the cutting process. We had to work on five loads at the same time so we could batch the deliveries according to the sequence planned for the site. Alexandre, Martin, Samuel and their team handled the internal logistics.<\/p>\n<p>Impressive teamwork!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/groupeagf.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/Ligne_bleue_separation_version_e-2392.jpg\" style=\"height:67px; width:400px\" title=\"\"><\/p>\n<p>El equipo de Quebec realiz&oacute; un buen proyecto en enero para la refiner&iacute;a Val&eacute;ro en L&eacute;vis: un sitio de petroqu&iacute;mica en la ribera sur de Quebec. Obtuvimos el contrato de venta directa con uno de nuestros clientes leales, G&eacute;rald Lapointe, de Construction G&eacute;rald Lapointe. El proyecto consist&iacute;a en hacer dos bases de dep&oacute;sito para almacenar etanol: un proyecto de 530&nbsp;t.<\/p>\n<p>El desaf&iacute;o mayor era log&iacute;stico, ya que ten&iacute;amos solamente siete d&iacute;as para realizar el trabajo de instalaci&oacute;n antes de la colada. A pesar del corto plazo que tambi&eacute;n tuvimos para la realizaci&oacute;n de los dise&ntilde;os, logramos limitar la p&eacute;rdida a menos del 2%. Anne-Julie, Denis y Claudine participaron en la optimizaci&oacute;n de los planos de corte.<\/p>\n<p>Posteriormente, nuestro reto fue transferido a la f&aacute;brica ya que, para optimizar el corte, tuvimos que trabajar en cinco cargas de frente para poder reagrupar las entregas seg&uacute;n las secuencias previstas en la obra.
