In a few years&rsquo; time, it will include 26 stations that are universally accessible and will span Greater Montreal with 67 km of track. By comparison, Montreal&rsquo;s metro network is 71 km long. Work began in January 2020 and should continue until the end of the year.<\/p>\n<p>The REM will be in service 20 hours a day and will connect with the metro at three stations (Bonaventure, McGill, &Eacute;douard-Montpetit). The line will be 100% electric and will connect downtown Montreal with the airport, which are definite advantages.<\/p>\n<h3><strong><u>The &Eacute;douard Montpetit station <\/u><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Since August 5, 2020, the &Eacute;douard Montpetit station has been gradually taking shape, and AGF is working daily to build the rebar structure for this project, which represents about 143 MT of steel. Se trata de un nuevo medio de transporte como el tren ligero. Dentro de algunos a&ntilde;os, contar&aacute; con 26 estaciones accesibles a todos y atravesar&aacute; la gran regi&oacute;n de Montreal por 67&nbsp;km.
