Our goal is to prevent workplace accidents and illnesses, to continuously improve health and safety in the workplace, and to instill and promote a health and safety culture at every level.<\/p>\n<p>Beyond physical integrity, the mental health of our employees is also our priority.<\/p>\n<p>No form of workplace violence or harassment is tolerated, whether committed by co-workers, managers, administrators or service providers.<\/p>\n<p>This policy applies to everyone who works for AGF, including employees, contract service providers, management and directors.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><strong>What is civility in the workplace?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Civility in the workplace is defined as good manners and acceptable behaviour in the workplace. It is no different from civility in general in our society. It is about having behaviours that enable us to live well together. Our behaviour at the grocery store, behind the wheel, at home and in restaurants should be the same as in the workplace. Politeness, respect for rules, courtesy.<\/p>\n<p>Incivility can negatively affect a person in many ways (depression, psychological distress, sleep disorders, muscle tension, etc.), so let&#8217;s not take it lightly.<\/p>\n<h3>\n<strong>What does it mean to work in a healthy environment?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>This refers to the quality of <em>individual and collective perceptions and emotions<\/em> of team members toward their work environment. Each person within the company must feel safe and respected when they go to work.<\/p>\n<h3>\n<strong>How do you identify incivility? Here are some examples:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Sarcasm, interrupting someone, taunting, vulgar language, indiscretion, spreading rumours about another person, contempt, being aggressive, being negative and falsely accusing co-workers are just some of the uncivil behaviours that should not be tolerated in the workplace.<\/p>\n<h3>\n<strong>When it goes further: harassment<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>&ldquo;Harassment is offensive (abusive, humiliating, hurtful) conduct, in words, gestures or behaviours that:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; are repeated;<br \/>\n&#8211;&nbsp;are hostile (aggressive, threatening), or unwanted;<br \/>\n&#8211;&nbsp;undermine a person&rsquo;s dignity (i.e., respect, self-respect) or integrity (i.e., physical, psychological or emotional well-being);<br \/>\n&#8211;&nbsp;make the work environment harmful to the person.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p><em>Source:<\/em> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnesst.gouv.qc.ca\/fr\/prevention-securite\/milieu-travail-sain\/harcelement-au-travail\/harcelement-psychologique-sexuel-au-travail\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>CNESST<\/em><\/a><em><u> website <\/u><\/em>[in French only]<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Where to turn for help?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Together, we must take reasonable steps to prevent psychological harassment and, when such conduct is brought to our attention, put a stop to it.<\/p>\n<p>Several possible solutions:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Discuss it with close colleagues.<br \/>\n&#8211;&nbsp;Discuss it with your manager.<br \/>\n&#8211;&nbsp;Contact our employee assistance program, it&#8217;s 100% confidential.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/groupeagf.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/Ligne_bleue_separation_version_e-2418.jpg\" style=\"height:67px; width:400px\" title=\"\"><\/p>\n<p><strong>Civismo en el trabajo<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>AGF se compromete a garantizar un ambiente laboral seguro para sus empleados, empresarios, visitantes y el p&uacute;blico. Su objetivo es garantizar la prevenci&oacute;n de accidentes laborales y enfermedades profesionales, mejorar continuamente la salud y la seguridad en el trabajo e inculcar y promover la cultura de salud y seguridad en todos los niveles.<\/p>\n<p>Adem&aacute;s de la integridad f&iacute;sica, nuestra prioridad tambi&eacute;n es la salud mental de nuestros empleados.<\/p>\n<p>Ninguna forma de violencia o de acoso en el trabajo ser&aacute; tolerada, ya sea cometida por colegas, directivos, administradores o proveedores de servicios.<\/p>\n<p>Esta pol&iacute;tica se aplica a todos los que trabajan para AGF, incluyendo a los empleados, los proveedores de servicios contractuales, los directores y los administradores.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>&iquest;Qu&eacute; es el civismo en el trabajo?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>El civismo en el trabajo se define como el conjunto de buenos modales y de comportamientos aceptables en un entorno laboral. No es diferente del civismo en general en nuestra sociedad. Se trata de tener comportamientos que nos permitan vivir bien juntos. Nuestro comportamiento en el supermercado, en la ruta, en la casa y en el restaurante deber&iacute;a ser la misma que en el trabajo: educaci&oacute;n, respeto de las reglas, cortes&iacute;a.<\/p>\n<p>Por otra parte, las consecuencias de los riesgos psicosociales para un empleado pueden ser m&uacute;ltiples (depresi&oacute;n, angustia psicol&oacute;gica, trastornos del sue&ntilde;o, tensiones musculares, etc.); por lo tanto, no lo tomemos a la ligera.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>&iquest;Qu&eacute; significa trabajar en un ambiente laboral sano?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Por ambiente, se entiende la calidad de las <em>percepciones y de las emociones individuales y colectivas<\/em> de los miembros del equipo hacia su ambiente.
