Ferralia-AGF Colombia has just completed work on a huge new project. Our division has been hard at work supplying, fabricating and installing rebar, as well as formwork and concrete work, for the Bosa University Hospital south of Bogotá.<\/p>\n

This project, which represents 2,032 MT of reinforcing steel, began on June 1, 2021, and was completed on June 30, 2022.<\/p>\n

This was also the first public-private project between the Bogotá City Council and a Spanish contractor, Constructora Ortiz.<\/p>\n

The large L-shaped building, surrounded by 7,500 m2<\/sup> of gardens, now has 240 beds. <\/p>\n

“In 2020, Colombia had 1.7 beds per 1,000 inhabitants, compared to 2.1 in the region and 4.7 in OECD countries,” according to the organization itself.<\/p>\n

This is a big step forward for the district of Bosa, which now has a population of more than 420,000.<\/p>\n

Ferralia-AGF Colombia acaba de participar ¡en un nuevo proyecto de gran envergadura! En efecto, nuestra división trabajó arduamente para el suministro, la fabricación, la instalación, el encofrado y el hormigonado del Hospital Universitario Bosa en el sur de Bogotá.<\/p>\n

Este proyecto inició el 1º de junio de 2021 y terminó este 30 de junio de 2022. Esto representa 2032 t de acero de refuerzo.
\nAsimismo, se trata del primer proyecto público-privado entre la alcaldía de Bogotá y una empresa española, la Constructora Ortiz.
\nEste gran edificio en forma de “L” y rodeado de 7500 metros cuadrados de jardín, cuenta con 240 camas.<\/p>\n

En efecto, “en 2020, Colombia contaba con 1.7 camas por 1000 habitantes, contra 2.1 en la región y 4.7 en este país de la OCDE”, de acuerdo con la organización.
