In 2012, you launched the AGF Group Foundation. What does its 10th anniversary mean to you? And what do you foresee for the Foundation’s next 10 years?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Indeed, 2022 marks the 10th anniversary the AGF Group Foundation was created. From its humble beginnings, the Foundation has really taken off, with donations totalling more than $3.5 million made to hundreds of organizations across Canada. In addition, the Foundation has established a non-expendable fund of about $1.0 million, which will generate additional revenues that can be redistributed to other organizations.<\/p>\n

I’m very proud to have spearheaded this initiative 10 years ago, especially when I see the extraordinary involvement of all the employees who have organized more than 700 fundraising activities to date in order to give back to their chosen causes.<\/p>\n

We mustn’t lose sight of the Foundation’s main objectives, which are:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

– to give back in the communities where the AGF Group operates in Canada;<\/p>\n

– to forge ties among the Group’s employees and partners;<\/p>\n

– to generally contribute to the development of a culture of philanthropy.<\/p>\n

I feel very optimistic about the Foundation’s future over the next 10 years, given the commitment and enthusiasm of its general manager, Catherine Gendron, and all of our ambassadors across the country. Long live the AGF Group Foundation!<\/p>\n

En el 2012, se creó la Fundación AGF. ¿Qué representa el décimo aniversario? ¿Cómo vislumbra los diez próximos años para la Fundación?<\/strong><\/p>\n

En efecto, el 2022 marca el décimo aniversario de la creación de la Fundación Grupo AGF. Después de un inicio más modesto, podemos ahora constatar que la Fundación ha despegado con un total de más de $3.5 millones de donativos a cientos de organismos por todo Canadá. Además, la Fundación se ha dotado en el camino de un fondo inalienable de aproximadamente $1 millón, el cual permitirá generar ingresos suplementarios que pueden ser redistribuidos.<\/p>\n

Me enorgullece haber lanzado esta iniciativa hace diez años, especialmente cuando constato la extraordinaria participación de todos los empleados que organizaron hasta ahora más de 700 actividades para recaudar fondos y devolver a la comunidad por medio de causas que ellos mismos eligieron.<\/p>\n

No hay que perder de vista los objetivos principales de la Fundación:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

– devolver a las comunidades en las que Grupo AGF está presente en Canadá;<\/p>\n

– crear vínculos entre los empleados y socios del Grupo;<\/p>\n

– y, de manera general, contribuir a desarrollar la cultura filantrópica.<\/p>\n

Me siento muy optimista en cuanto al futuro de la Fundación para los próximos diez años gracias a la entrega y al entusiasmo de la Directora General, Catherine Gendron, y de todos nuestros embajadores en todo el país.<\/p>\n
