Here’s a great project that got underway in Quebec City recently: AGF has begun work on the inverts for the D Wing of Hôpital Saint-Jésu, part of Quebec City’s university hospital complex.<\/p>\n

The project began in August 2022 and is slated for completion in 2023.<\/p>\n

The construction entails some complexity in the detailing, production and installation of the steel. High precision is required, since it is a heavy iron invert (30\/35 M) with bend angles.<\/p>\n

On several occasions, we had to find quick solutions to satisfy the customer. Our teamwork was most efficient!<\/p>\n

Yannick Harvey (foreman – Armature EB) and Geneviève Cadieux (project manager – Acier Ecan) worked hand in hand to complete this project. We’ll be finishing with the invert in the next few weeks—good news, since the trickiest part will be behind us.<\/p>\n

This 1,200-MT project.<\/p>\n

Proyecto del CHU del Hospital Saint-Jésus en Quebec<\/strong><\/p>\n

¡Este es un gran proyecto que inició en Quebec durante estas últimas semanas!<\/p>\n

AGF inició los trabajos de las soleras del ala D del Hospital Saint-Jésus, el cual forma parte del CHU (Centro Hospitalario Universitario) de Quebec.<\/p>\n

El proyecto comenzó en agosto de 2022 y se completará durante 2023.<\/p>\n

Es un proyecto que conlleva una cierta complejidad en cuanto al detallado, la producción y la instalación de acero. En efecto, es necesario demostrar una gran precisión, ya que se trata de una losa de fundación (o losa radier<\/em>) con hierro grueso (30\/35M) que implica ángulos de plegado.<\/p>\n

En varias ocasiones, tuvimos que encontrar soluciones rápidas para satisfacer al cliente. ¡El trabajo de equipo fue muy eficaz!<\/p>\n

Yannick Harvey (Capataz, Armatures EB) y Geneviève Cadieux (Encargada de Proyecto, Acier Ecan) trabajan mano a mano para poder realizar este proyecto. Vamos a terminar la armadura para la losa de fundación durante las próximas semanas. Es una buena noticia, ya que la parte más compleja estará terminada.<\/p>\n
