AGF workers have been involved on the Novia project in Longueuil (QC) during one year.<\/p>\n

What is the Novia project? <\/strong><\/h3>\n

Novia is a major rental project under construction in New Longueuil, a few minutes’ walk from the metro. It features a gym, yoga room, swimming pool and common lounge, along with eco-friendly living spaces. It will also have urban vegetable gardens, electric charging stations and car-sharing services. As well, it will provide a variety of services for residents: wifi is included and there is a parcel receiving area, a concierge app, a bike repair workshop and a café\/caterer.<\/p>\n

Our involvement <\/strong><\/h3>\n

This energy-efficient and low visual impact building, complete with green roofs, was completed in October.<\/p>\n

Seven AGF installers worked on the steel structure, under the supervision of our foreman Alexandre Richard. The project, which was carried out on two different contracts completed at the same time, represents some 2,200 metric tons of steel in total.<\/p>\n

Our workers were responsible for supplying and installing all the rebar<\/u> for the project.<\/p>\n

The first phase comprised 21 storeys and the second, 10 storeys.<\/p>\n

Proyecto Novia en Longueuil <\/strong><\/h3>\n

Durante un año, los trabajadores de AGF trabajaron en el proyecto Novia en Longueuil.<\/p>\n

¿De qué se trata? <\/strong><\/h3>\n

Novia es un proyecto locativo de gran envergadura que está viendo la luz en el nuevo Longueuil, a algunos minutos a pie del metro. Propone servicios funcionales (gimnasios, sala de yoga, piscina, vestíbulo común) y también salas de estar ecológicamente responsables. En efecto, también cuenta con: huertos urbanos, estaciones eléctricas e incluso servicios de uso compartido de automóviles. Por último, es un lugar de residencia centrado en sus habitantes con: un espacio de recepción de paquetes, wifi incluido, una aplicación de conserjería, un taller de mecánica de bicicletas e incluso un café con servicio de catering.<\/em><\/p>\n

Nuestra participación<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Este edificio de alta eficiencia energética y con un bajo impacto visual con sus techos verdes acaba de ser terminado el pasado mes de octubre.<\/p>\n

Siete trabajadores encargados de la elaboración de armaduras de AGF trabajaron en la estructura de acero, dirigidos por nuestro capataz Alexandre Richard. El proyecto, realizado con dos contratos diferentes que terminaron al mismo tiempo, representa aproximadamente 2200 t de acero en total.<\/p>\n

Nuestros trabajadores fueron responsables del abastecimiento y de la instalación del total de la armadura<\/u> para el proyecto.<\/p>\n

La primera fase comprendía veintiún pisos, la segunda, diez.<\/p>\n
