A green and innovative project<\/strong><\/h3>\n

In November 2022, Enel Green Power Chile, a subsidiary of Enel Chile, began construction of its new La Cabaña wind farm, which also incorporates an innovative energy storage system using lithium-ion batteries. Construction will continue until April 2023.<\/p>\n

AGF Aceros de Chile will install 300 tonnes of reinforcing steel there.<\/p>\n

This new 100% clean energy generation plant envisages an investment of approximately $190 million and an installed capacity of 105.6 MW, which will be complemented by a 34.3 MW BESS system.<\/p>\n

La Cabaña is part of the portfolio of renewable projects in the country, and through which it has promoted the process of decarbonization of its production matrix, in accordance with its Just Energy Transition strategy.<\/p>\n

The next steps<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The La Cabaña wind farm plans to install another 22 wind turbines of 4.8 MW each.<\/p>\n

Un proyecto ecológico e innovador<\/strong><\/h3>\n

En noviembre de 2022, Enel Green Power Chile, filial de Enel Chile, inició la construcción de su nuevo parque eólico La Cabaña, que también incorpora un innovador sistema de almacenamiento de energía mediante baterías de iones de litio. La construcción se prolongará hasta abril de 2023.<\/p>\n

AGF Aceros de Chile instalará allí 300 toneladas de armaduras.<\/p>\n

Esta nueva planta de generación de energía 100% limpia contempla una inversión aproximada de 190 millones de dólares y una capacidad instalada de 105,6 MW, que se complementará con un sistema BESS de 34,3 MW.<\/p>\n

La Cabaña forma parte de la cartera de proyectos renovables del país, a través de los cuales ha impulsado el proceso de descarbonización de su matriz productiva, de acuerdo con su estrategia de Transición Energética Justa.<\/p>\n

Próximos pasos<\/strong><\/h3>\n
