This facility will produce cathode active materials (one of the two electrodes used in a system that generates electrical current) for General Motors Ultium batteries in Quebec.<\/p>\n<p>This is an exciting project assigned by Pomerleau, which AGF Rebar\u2019s Trois-Rivi\u00e8res division has been involved in since January 20 of this year and will continue until March 2023.<\/p>\n<p>Phase 1 of the work represents about 205 metric tons of rebar. This is a fast-track* project that requires stringent management and an extremely high level of safety.
