Thanks to the support of our colleague Nathalie Dionne, sales and estimating coordinator at AGF Rebar in Calgary, we were able to raise a sizeable amount of money during the Country 105 Radiothon in support of the Alberta Children’s Hospital<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Congratulations to all the employees who, with the help of the AGF Group Foundation, donated $1,260 to this worthy cause. The amount will also be matched by a Calgary philanthropist!<\/p>\n

The radiothon started out as a way to raise the hospital’s profile. Over time, it has become a highly influential event that supports children while raising morale in the entire community. A number of children and their parents had the opportunity to talk about their experiences at the hospital. One interviewee we found especially touching was Kingston<\/a>, who spoke about the Art Therapy program, which we’re very proud to have supported over a three-year period.<\/p>\n

Thanks to strong, widespread engagement, the Country 105 Caring for Kids Radiothon has been recognized as one of the most successful of the 250 radiothons held annually in North America!<\/p>\n

Since 2003, it has raised more than $40 million for the Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation<\/a>, one miracle worker at a time.<\/p>\n

Radiotón “Caring for Kids”, Hospital infantil de Alberta<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Gracias al apoyo de nuestra colega Nathalie Dionne, Coordinadora de ventas y Estimaciones en AGF Rebar en Calgary, logramos recaudar una importante suma durante el Radiotón de la radio Country 105 en beneficio del Hospital infantil de Alberta<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Felicidades a todos los empleados que permitieron, con la ayuda de la Fundación Grupo AGF, donar 1260 CAD a esta buena causa. Además, ¡un filántropo de Calgary igualará el monto!<\/p>\n

Al principio, el radiotón era una manera de darle visibilidad al hospital. Con el tiempo, se ha convertido en un evento muy poderoso que permite apoyar a los niños y elevarle la moral a toda la comunidad. Varios niños y sus padres tuvieron la ocasión de hablar de sus experiencias en el hospital. La entrevista de Kingston<\/a>, quien se confió en el programa Arts Therapy, nos conmovió particularmente. Nos enorgullece enormemente apoyar este programa durante tres años.<\/p>\n

Gracias a la gran entrega de todos, el radiotón de Country 105 “Caring for Kids” ¡fue reconocido como uno de los más exitosos entre los 250 radiotones que se han organizado cada año en Norteamérica!<\/p>\n
