This month, here is the selected question: <\/p>\n

Since the creation of AGF, what has been your favorite project?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Of course, over 75 years, more than one project has been decisive in the history of AGF.
\nBut the strongest memory I have is about the Highway 30 project in the Greater Montreal area, which we executed between 2009 and 2012.<\/p>\n

I chose that one for several reasons:<\/p>\n

– First, because our clients for that project were working internationally and that project was their first major project in Canada. They had different cultures and methods.
\nI like to think that our work was up to the task, since it led to several other contracts in Canada and internationally with these same clients.<\/p>\n

– Secondly, because this project revealed new talents at AGF who have continued to evolve with us. I am thinking about Justin Voisard and Maxime Gendron, among others. <\/p>\n

– The size of the project was also a challenge. About thirty structures – including the bridges over the St. Lawrence River and the Seaway, as well as the tunnel under the Soulanges Canal – had to be built almost simultaneously.<\/p>\n

– It was a project with enormous logistical requirements and some elements presented complex challenges for the installation of the reinforcing steel.<\/p>\n
