In collaboration with José Rochette, P.Eng. and general manager, Armature Sherbrooke<\/em><\/p>\n

Over the past year, our Sherbrooke division has been involved in a number of large-scalem projects involving a variety of challenges. These projects called for a high level of teamwork,
\ncollaborating with our other divisions in Longueuil, Trois-Rivières and Tecnik (the division based in India).<\/p>\n

The Chardonnay<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Chardonnay project, an eight-storey building that required 461 metric tons of steel, was executed entirely by Armature Sherbrooke from June 2022 to April 2023.
\nWith space on site limited, scheduling the steel deliveries was a big challenge. Fortunately, we rose to the challenge with flying colours, efficiently planning deliveries throughout the project.
\nSocial housing on Galt Street East in Sherbrooke Construction of this six-storey building comprising 116 social housing units began in August 2022 and is slated for completion in August 2023. The project called for 280 metric tons of steel.
\nWith three separate units involved, each with its own way of doing things, coordination was key.
\nAGF Longueuil and AGF Tecnik collaborated on detailing, AGF Trois-Rivières handled fabrication, while Armature Sherbrooke was responsible for installation. This close cooperation among our units underscores the importance of teamwork on complex projects such as this.<\/p>\n

Coaticook Seniors Centre<\/strong><\/p>\n

Work on this four-storey building, requiring 450 metric tons of steel, began in June 2022 and is scheduled to be completed in summer 2023. Armature Sherbrooke received timely fabrication
\nassistance from AGF Trois-Rivières in executing the project.<\/p>\n

Reconstruction of the East Angus bridge<\/strong><\/p>\n

This 125-metre-long bridge, which called for 150 metric tons of steel, was rebuilt between September 2022 and May 2023.<\/p>\n

The project was especially challenging because of its tight schedule, with the first phase taking place in fall 2022, followed by a second in spring 2023. In November and December 2022, a
\nteam of installers from AGF Trois-Rivières came to lend a hand to our team in Sherbrooke.
\nThanks to their collaboration, we were able to meet our customer&#39;s deadline!<\/p>\n

In short, pooling our strengths ensured the success of these complex projects. Close collaboration and teamwork played a key role in bringing them to fruition. It’s an approach that
\nhas big benefits for our customers!<\/p>\n

Los proyectos en curso en Sherbrooke<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Los proyectos se realizan en colaboración con José Rochette, ing., Director General de Armature Sherbrooke.<\/p>\n

Durante el último año, nuestra división de Sherbrooke ha participado en varios proyectos de gran envergadura que han presentado diversos desafíos. Estos proyectos han requerido un sólido espíritu de equipo debido a la colaboración con nuestras otras divisiones de Longueuil, Trois-Rivières y Tecnik (división basada en India).<\/p>\n

Le Chardonnay<\/strong><\/p>\n

El proyecto de Chardonnay, un inmueble de 8 pisos que requirió 461 t de acero, fue realizado completamente por Armature Sherbrooke de junio de 2022 a abril de 2023. Debido a un restringido espacio en la obra, la planificación de entregas de acero representaba un importante desafío. Afortunadamente, superamos el desafío con brío y las entregas fueron planeadas de manera eficaz durante todo el proyecto.

Viviendas de interés social en la calle Galt Est en Sherbrooke<\/strong><\/p>\n

La construcción de este edificio de 6 pisos que incluye 116 viviendas de interés social inició en agosto de 2022 y su finalización está prevista para agosto de 2023. Este proyecto requiere 280 t de acero.<\/p>\n

La coordinación ha sido esencial debido a la participación de tres unidades distintas, cada una con su propia manera de trabajar. AGF Longueuil y AGF Tecnik colaboraron durante el detallado; AGF Trois-Rivières se encargó de la fabricación, y Armature Sherbrooke se aseguró de la instalación. Esta estrecha colaboración entre nuestras unidades puso en evidencia la importancia del espíritu de equipo durante la realización de proyectos complejos como este.

Casa para ancianos de Coaticook<\/strong><\/p>\n

Este edificio de 4 pisos, que requiere 450 t de acero, inició en junio de 2022 y su finalización está prevista para el verano de 2023. Realizado por Armature Sherbrooke, este proyecto ha recibido el apoyo especial de AGF Trois-Rivières para la fabricación.
\n <\/p>\n

Reconstrucción del puente East Angus<\/strong><\/p>\n

La reconstrucción de este puente de 125 m de largo fue realizada de septiembre de 2022 a mayo de 2023 y requirió 150 t de acero.<\/p>\n

Este proyecto representó un desafío particular debido a los exigentes plazos, con una primera fase en el otoño de 2022 y una segunda en la primavera de 2023. En noviembre y diciembre de 2022, un equipo de instaladores de AGF Trois-Rivières fue a ayudar a nuestro equipo de Sherbrooke. Gracias a esta colaboración, ¡pudimos respetar los plazos de nuestros clientes satisfactoriamente!<\/p>\n

En resumen, al unir nuestras fuerzas, estos proyectos han alcanzado el éxito.
