75 years … Wow!<\/p>\n

It was in 1948, after graduating from Polytechnique Montréal, that my father, Laurent Gendron, decided to launch Canada’s very first rebar company.<\/p>\n

With great determination, he managed to put together teams of proud builders at the forefront of developing modern-day Quebec: the St. Lawrence Seaway, Place des Arts, Expo 67, Complexe Desjardins, the Montreal metro, the Olympic Stadium, and the list goes on.<\/p>\n

Laurent even supplied and installed the rebar for the Churchill Falls hydroelectric project in Labrador in 1968.<\/p>\n

Today, customers, partners, suppliers and almost 2,500 employees make up our great big family, and to them I offer my heartfelt thanks.<\/p>\n

You are contributing to the growth of a 100% Quebec-owned company with more than 25 business units worldwide and tens of thousands of projects under its belt.<\/p>\n

Here’s to many more years of success in this wonderful adventure.<\/p>\n
