Since 2012, the Foundation has been giving back in the communities where the AGF Group operates in Canada, forging ties among the Group’s employees and partners, and more broadly, fostering a culture of philanthropy.<\/p>\n

At the Foundation’s benefit event “Escales” this past May, Serge Gendron announced that to mark AGF’s 75th anniversary, the Foundation would donate $75,000 to an organization in each of the provinces where the company has operations: 75,000 in British Columbia \/ $75,000 in Alberta \/ $75,000 in Ontario \/ $75,000 in Quebec \/ $75,000 in the Maritimes.*<\/p>\n

A total of $375,000 is being redistributed to organizations across the country that have a significant impact on local communities, while also embracing the Foundation’s values of commitment, altruism, team spirit and ethics.<\/p>\n

A rigorous process <\/strong><\/p>\n

The 75 Club* Committee’s members held wide-ranging discussions with employees, asking them to indicate which categories they would like the Foundation to become involved in. (The five categories supported by the Foundation are education, sports and leisure, arts and culture, health, and socio-humanitarian causes).<\/p>\n

Employees identified their preferred categories and also suggested organizations. The committee studied the proposals and made final recommendations, presenting the organizations selected to the administrative committee.<\/p>\n

Elección de causas – 75 000 CAD<\/p>\n

Desde 2012, la Fundación tiene como objetivo retribuir a las comunidades en las que opera Grupo AGF en Canadá, crear vínculos entre los empleados y los socios del Grupo y, en general, ayudar a desarrollar una cultura de filantropía.<\/p>\n

En mayo de 2023, durante el evento de recaudación de fondos de la Fundación “Escales”, Serge Gendron anunció que, con motivo del 75.o aniversario de AGF, la fundación donaría 75 000 CAD a una organización de cada una de las provincias en las que AGF está presente.<\/p>\n

Es decir, 75 000 CAD en Colombia Británica, 75 000 CAD en Alberta, 75 000 CAD en Ontario, 75 000 CAD en Quebec y 75 000 CAD en las Marítimas*.<\/p>\n

En total, se redistribuyen 375 000 CAD por todo el país entre organizaciones que tienen un impacto considerable en las poblaciones locales y al mismo tiempo siguen los valores comunes de la Fundación: entrega, altruismo, espíritu de equipo y ética.<\/p>\n

Un proceso riguroso<\/p>\n

Los miembros del comité del Club de los 75** organizaron una sesión de reflexión con los empleados, pidiéndoles que indicaran las categorías en las que les gustaría que se implicara la Fundación. (Nota: Las cinco categorías apoyadas por la Fundación son educación, deportes y ocio, arte y cultura, salud y asistencia socio-humanitaria).<\/p>\n

Los empleados identificaron sus categorías preferidas y también sugirieron organizaciones. El comité estudió las propuestas, realizó las recomendaciones finales y les presentó las organizaciones elegidas a los miembros del comité administrativo:<\/p>\n
