These figures attest&nbsp;to the vitality of IT activity within the organizationand highlight the department&#8217;s commitment to meeting users&rsquo; tech needs.<\/p>\n<p>We have also strengthened our ability to meet the IT needs of AGF Tecnik in India with the arrival of a new member. This expansion reflects our department&#8217;s desire to reinforce its workforce and skills to better serve users and meet future technological challenges.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Improving IT infrastructure<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>On another front, the company took a major step forward by deploying the SD-WAN network at all our sites, marking a major evolution in our IT infrastructure. This not only improved our connectivity and network security, but also laid the groundwork for more efficient traffic management.<\/p>\n<p>Our efforts are focused on&nbsp;:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>Continuous improvements to security;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Performance analysis;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Optimized traffic management.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Safety is our priority<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We are continuing our initiatives to improve security. In 2023, over 300 tickets were created by users to report an e-mail they considered suspicious. This enabled the IT department to act quickly and contain phishing scams on several occasions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>On the development side<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>On the development side, the team was primarily involved in designing, testing and stabilizing the interfaces required for the Horizon Project, linking Oracle ERP to aSa Studio. In addition, the team played a key role in the deployment of our new ERP in&nbsp;Ottawa, both in terms of data conversion and post-Go-Live support. Since the launch, several internal control tools have been put in place to improve error traceability. This work is currently continuing in preparation for future Go-Lives, to ensure the continued success of the Horizon project.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What about 2024?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The IT team has set itself ambitious goals to support and accelerate the Group&#8217;s growth.<\/p>\n<p>Our vision is built around three main pillars:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>improving IT relations with all our business units,<\/li>\n<li>providing optimum support for our operations,<\/li>\n<li>and refining our communications.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/groupeagf.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/Ligne_bleue_separation_version_e-2530.jpg\" style=\"height:67px; width:400px\" title=\"\"><\/p>\n<p><strong>Un a&ntilde;o innovador<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>El departamento de TI tuvo un a&ntilde;o intenso&nbsp;en 2023, con m&aacute;s de 7.153 solicitudes recibidas.<\/p>\n<p>Esto representa un aumento significativo del 12% en el n&uacute;mero de solicitudes recibidas. Estas cifras dan fe de la vitalidad de la actividad inform&aacute;tica en el seno de la organizaci&oacute;n, de los proyectos de innovaci&oacute;n en curso y ponen de relieve el compromiso del departamento para responder a las necesidades y retos tecnol&oacute;gicos a los que se enfrentan los usuarios.<\/p>\n<p>Tambi&eacute;n hemos reforzado nuestra capacidad para responder a las necesidades inform&aacute;ticas de AGF Tecnik en la India con la llegada de un nuevo colaborador.<br \/>\n&iquest;El objetivo? Responder a los retos tecnol&oacute;gicos del futuro.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mejora de la infraestructura inform&aacute;tica<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>En otro orden de cosas, la red SD-WAN se ha desplegado en todas nuestras sedes, lo que supone una importante evoluci&oacute;n de nuestra infraestructura inform&aacute;tica. Esto no solo ha mejorado nuestra conectividad y la seguridad de la red, sino que tambi&eacute;n ha sentado las bases para una gesti&oacute;n m&aacute;s eficiente del tr&aacute;fico.<\/p>\n<p>Los principales objetivos son:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Reforzar la seguridad;<\/li>\n<li>Mejorar el rendimiento de la red<\/li>\n<li>Garantizar una gesti&oacute;n &oacute;ptima del tr&aacute;fico<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>La seguridad es nuestra prioridad<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Seguimos con nuestras iniciativas para mejorar la seguridad.<\/p>\n<p>En 2023, los usuarios crearon m&aacute;s de 300 tickets para informar de un correo electr&oacute;nico que consideraban sospechoso. Esto permiti&oacute; al departamento de TI actuar con rapidez y contener las estafas de phishing en varias ocasiones.<\/p>\n<p>Durante el a&ntilde;o no se produjo ninguna brecha de seguridad, lo cual es una noticia muy positiva.<\/p>\n<p>Seguimos vigilando todas las situaciones cercanas al &eacute;xito.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Desarrollo<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>En cuanto al desarrollo, el equipo se dedic&oacute; principalmente a dise&ntilde;ar, probar y estabilizar las interfaces necesarias para el proyecto Horizon, vinculando Oracle ERP a aSa Studio. Adem&aacute;s, el equipo desempe&ntilde;&oacute; un papel clave en el despliegue de Ottawa, tanto en t&eacute;rminos de conversi&oacute;n de datos como de soporte post-Go-Live. Desde el lanzamiento, se han puesto en marcha una serie de herramientas de control interno para mejorar la trazabilidad de los errores.
