If you’ll recall, over the past few months, we’ve been bringing you the presentations of the $75,000 cheque in each province, to mark AGF’s 75th anniversary: Feed Nova Scotia and Fondation des petits-déjeuner de la Péninsule acadiennes in the Maritimes, Hamilton Hospital in Ontario, FACE in Alberta, Access Youth in British Columbia.<\/p>\n

We had one left to announce for the province of Quebec.<\/p>\n

On February 5, we were honoured to welcome the team from the Laurent Duvernay-Tardif Foundation<\/a>.<\/p>\n

It was an opportunity for the AGF Group Foundation to show its support for La 6e période<\/em>: the first after-school program in Quebec to combine art and sports for elementary school children.<\/p>\n

For our 75th anniversary, we had planned to make a $75,000 donation … but there was a surprise!
\nIn a nod to the number 76 Laurent wore with the Kansas City Chiefs when they won the Superbowl in 2020, we decided to increase our donation to $76,000.<\/p>\n

Many thanks to Laurent Duvernay-Tardif, Florence-Agathe Dubé-Moreau, Steves Morin and Audrey McKinnon for visiting our Longueuil office.<\/p>\n

La Fundación Grupo AGF entrega 75 000 CAD a la Fundación Laurent Duvernay‑Tardif<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Recuerde que, en los últimos meses, le hemos brindado la oportunidad de experimentar los eventos de entrega de cheques de 75 000 CAD en cada provincia, con motivo del 75.º aniversario de AGF: Feed Nova Scotia y Fondation des petits-déjeuner de la Péninsule acadiennes en las Maritimes, Hamilton Hospital en Ontario, FACE en Alberta, Access Youth en Columbia Británica.<\/p>\n

Nos quedaba uno por revelar para la provincia de Quebec. De hecho, el 5 de febrero tuvimos el honor de recibir al maravilloso equipo de la Fundación Laurent Duvernay-Tardif.<\/a><\/p>\n

Fue una oportunidad para que la Fundación Grupo AGF le mostrara su apoyo al programa “El 6º periodo”: el primer programa extraescolar de Quebec que combina arte y deporte para niños de primaria.<\/p>\n

Para nuestro 75.º aniversario estaba previsto un donativo de 75 000 CAD, pero… ¡sorpresa!<\/p>\n

En un instante, por el número 76 que Laurent lució con los Chiefs, con quienes ganó el Supertazón en el 2020, decidimos aumentar nuestro donativo a 76 000 CAD.<\/p>\n
