Bagotville (La Baie sector), near Saguenay, is the scene of a major civil engineering project involving the extension of Highway 70, marking an important step in the improvement of the local road infrastructure.<\/p>\n

This ambitious project, located on chemin Grande-Anse, is a result\u00a0of close collaboration between AGF Tecnik, AGF Longueuil, Armature EB and the Acier AGF Qu\u00e9bec\u00a0plant.<\/p>\n

An ambitious project<\/strong><\/p>\n

The project features the construction of two major bridges. Each bridge is designed with caissons, two abutments, two piers and a deck, demonstrating the scale and technical complexity of the project.<\/p>\n

Key players<\/strong><\/p>\n

The AGF team in Longueuil is primarily responsible for detailing and project management, under the leadership of Marc Gauthier and his team. At Acier AGF in Quebec City, Martin Deblois oversees production. Finally, Armatures EB takes care of installation, thanks to \u00c9tienne Lemieux.\u00a0The project benefits from seamless expertise and coordination.<\/p>\n

Where are we now?<\/strong><\/p>\n

To date, the project has seen the delivery and installation of some 900 MT of steel, or 66% of total progress.<\/p>\n

In all, the project represents some 1,360 metric tons of steel, of which 600 metric tons is for the caisson piles alone.
\nNo fewer than 208 caisson piles will be installed!<\/p>\n

The construction schedule runs from May 2023 to May 2025.<\/p>\n

Actores clave<\/strong><\/p>\n

El equipo de AGF en Longueuil se encarga principalmente de los detalles y la gesti\u00f3n del proyecto, bajo la direcci\u00f3n de Marc Gauthier y su equipo. En Acier AGF, en Quebec, Martin Deblois supervisa la producci\u00f3n. Por \u00faltimo, Armatures EB se encarga de la instalaci\u00f3n, gracias a \u00c9tienne Lemieux. \u00bfCu\u00e1l es la situaci\u00f3n actual?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Hasta la fecha, el proyecto ha permitido la entrega e instalaci\u00f3n de unas 900 toneladas de acero, es decir, el 66% del avance total.
\nEn total, el proyecto representa unas 1.360 toneladas m\u00e9tricas de acero, de las cuales 600 toneladas m\u00e9tricas corresponden \u00fanicamente a los cajones.<\/p>\n

Se instalar\u00e1n nada menos que 208 cajones.
