{"id":49518,"date":"2024-03-04T15:56:00","date_gmt":"2024-03-04T20:56:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/groupeagf.com\/en\/the-network\/uncategorized\/a-look-back-on-foundation-week-2024"},"modified":"2024-12-11T16:19:14","modified_gmt":"2024-12-11T21:19:14","slug":"look-back-foundation-week","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/groupeagf.com\/en\/the-network\/foundation\/look-back-foundation-week","title":{"rendered":"A look back on Foundation Week 2024"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>Once again this year, AGF dedicated an entire week to the AGF Group Foundation in all our Canadian divisions, from February 26 to March 1.\u00a0During the week, ambassadors and employees joined forces and organized a series of inspiring activities!<\/p>\n<p><strong>In Longueuil:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Our colleague Pier-Alexandre Poirier gave a hot yoga class at the Idolem center in Boucherville with voluntary participation. Thanks to this activity, he raised $1018 for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.charlesbruneau.qc.ca\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Charles-Bruneau Foundation<\/a>, which supports children with cancer.<\/li>\n<li>In collaboration with\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/erableaufildutemps.ca\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">L&#8217;\u00e9rable au fil du temps<\/a>, Alexandra Fernandez sold maple products\u00a0in our Longueuil and Quebec City divisions,\u00a0in support of the\u00a0Foundation.\u00a0A total of $172 was collected.<\/li>\n<li>Last but not least, on February 28, Marilyne Gemme organized a big 50-50 draw.<br \/>\nThanks to this initiative, no less than $800 will be donated to the <a href=\"https:\/\/cancer.ca\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Canadian Cancer Society<\/a>!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>In Quebec City:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Chlo\u00e9 Gauvin and Martin Deblois hosted several coffee breaks in our offices and plants to talk about the Foundation.<\/li>\n<li>A muffin and doughnut sale delighted our colleagues.<\/li>\n<li>Katherina Beck led a big 50-50 draw\u00a0at the office. A total of $430 will be donated to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mira.ca\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mira<\/a> organization, whose mission is to provide guide dogs and assistance dogs to people with disabilities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>In Trois-Rivi\u00e8res:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Annie Audet made the Foundation shine by organizing a spaghetti dinner for her colleagues to collect donations!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>In Kitchener:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Arsany Barsoum organized a big Foundation lunch, raising $445! But he also set up a photobooth, a recognition tree and organized a presentation to raise awareness.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>In Markham:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A big pizza lunch\u00a0to benefit the Foundation was held mid-week, thanks to Alison Johns Castillo and Praba Kandasamyar, and raised $320.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>In Scarborough:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>At our Scarborough plant, Darson Rajasegaram brought the AGF Group Foundation to life!<br \/>\nHe not only had the opportunity to talk about the Foundation&#8217;s various achievements throughout the week, but also organized a 50-50 draw that raised $190!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>In London:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Our colleague Niket Dave organized an Easter basket draw in the London division, raising $190 for the Foundation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>In Ottawa:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Our ambassador Terri-Ann Habib has set up a trivia game with a gift card to be won!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>In Vancouver:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Stephanie North was exceptional, accompanied by John Hallam for this Foundation Week!<br \/>\nThey gave a great presentation of the Foundation to all their colleagues and host fun games.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>A huge thank you to everyone who took part or helped make this week a success!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"height: 67px; width: 400px;\" src=\"https:\/\/groupeagf.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/Ligne_bleue_separation_version_e-2539.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"\"><\/p>\n<p>Un a\u00f1o m\u00e1s, AGF dedic\u00f3 una semana entera a la Fundaci\u00f3n del Grupo AGF en todas nuestras divisiones canadienses, del 26 de febrero al 1 de marzo.\u00a0Durante estos hermosos d\u00edas, embajadores y empleados unieron sus fuerzas y organizaron una serie de actividades inspiradoras.<\/p>\n<p><strong>En Longueuil :<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Nuestro colega Pier-Alexandre Poirier imparti\u00f3 una clase de yoga caliente en el centro Idolem de Boucherville con una contribuci\u00f3n voluntaria. Gracias a esta iniciativa, se donar\u00e1n nada menos que 800 $ a la <a href=\"http:\/\/cancer.ca\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sociedad Canadiense contra el C\u00e1ncer<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>En la ciudad de Quebec :<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Chlo\u00e9 Gauvin y Martin Deblois organizaron varios caf\u00e9s en nuestras oficinas y plantas para hablar de la Fundaci\u00f3n.<\/li>\n<li>Una venta de magdalenas y donuts deleit\u00f3 el paladar de nuestros colegas.<\/li>\n<li>Nuestra colega Katherina Beck anim\u00f3 una gran media naranja en las oficinas.
