As we enter 2025, I would like to share with you the exceptional drive powering the AGF Group. Thanks to the commitment of our teams and our strategic choices, we are strengthening our position as the leading supplier of rebar for major projects across Canada and continuing our international development.<\/p>\n

1. A strengthened and committed leadership team<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Our corporate team, united and structured, shares a common vision: the addition of Marc Perreault (Chief Operating Officer) and Arash Farbahi (Senior Vice President, Operations – Western Canada) to the executive committee in 2023-2024 has enhanced our ability to drive growth and seize new opportunities. S\u00e9bastien Delorme (Senior Vice President, Operations – Eastern Canada) continues to play a key role with his valuable contributions and expertise.
\nTogether, we are working to realize the Group\u2019s ambitions.<\/p>\n

2. International expansion: AGF enters Texas!<\/strong><\/h4>\n

The acquisition of Katy Steel by AGF in Houston marks a significant milestone in our expansion strategy. This first step into Texas opens the doors to a promising market and strengthens our position in North America.<\/p>\n

3. Project Horizon: A digital transformation moving forward with confidence<\/strong><\/h4>\n

The rollout of our new ERP and CRM systems (Oracle and aSa Studio) continues across several divisions. This technological shift, at the heart of Project Horizon, modernizes our operations and enhances our efficiency. A big thank you to all the teams involved who are actively contributing to the success of this transformation.<\/p>\n

4. Proactive management in the face of economic uncertainties<\/strong><\/h4>\n

With the global economic context and uncertainties tied to the unpredictability of U.S. politics, fluctuations in raw material prices present a challenge. However, our management team is acting with caution and proactivity by implementing solid strategies to secure, among other things, our steel supplies and minimize economic risks. We have also begun research and development projects focused on robotics in certain manufacturing operations to reduce health and safety risks and enable our teams to be more efficient.<\/p>\n

5. Projects from coast to coast<\/strong><\/h4>\n

AGF is firmly established across Canada and has extensive expertise in complex construction sites. This strength allows us to position ourselves on various projects according to the circumstances of each province:<\/p>\n

  • British Columbia: Major infrastructure projects, institutional buildings (schools, hospitals), and residential buildings.<\/li>\n
  • Alberta: Development of energy projects, infrastructure, residential buildings, and data centers.<\/li>\n
  • Ontario: Expansion of sustainable mobility networks and growth of the nuclear power sector.<\/li>\n
  • Quebec: Major road infrastructure and bridge projects.<\/li>\n
  • Maritimes: Deployment of renewable energy projects, particularly offshore wind farm bases.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
