AGF is proud to participate in the construction of the Elora project, a residential and commercial complex in Laval, in collaboration with Bastium Construction.<\/p>\n

Modern Buildings Designed for the Community<\/h4>\n

The first phase of this project includes the construction of two buildings. The first, an 8-story building, will feature 185 rental condos with commercial spaces on the ground floor. The second, connected by a footbridge, will offer 179 residential units for seniors.<\/p>\n

Technical Details of the Project<\/h4>\n

This phase of construction requires 1,327 metric tons of rebar. To improve efficiency and meet deadlines, some steel structures are prefabricated in AGF’s shop before being delivered to the site, which reduces installation time.<\/p>\n

Construction Progress<\/h4>\n

AGF began installing the rebar structures in January 2025. So far, approximately 40% of the foundations have been completed. Our team, made up of about six rebar placers, is working on the remaining foundations before moving on to the building\u2019s vertical construction.<\/p>\n

At each level, they will install the vertical elements, including columns, shear walls, and the walls of elevator and stair shafts. They will also place the slabs, which form the building\u2019s floors and ensure the stability of each level.<\/p>\n

AGF\u2019s involvement in this project will continue until the end of 2025.<\/p>\n
