AGF is proud to be contributing to the construction of the Clinical Support and Research Centre (CSRC), located on the new Jim Pattison Medical Campus in Vancouver, British Columbia, adjacent to the new St. Paul\u2019s Hospital. Built in collaboration with PCL, this cutting-edge 12-storey facility will serve as a major hub for health research and innovation.<\/span><\/p>\n

A centre designed for innovation and discovery<\/span><\/h3>\n

This ambitious project will include research labs, state of-the-art core facilities, and a large Innovation Centre with sandbox and ideation space (collaborative areas for testing and developing new ideas) as well as prototyping and simulation facilities.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

It is also designed to support advanced technologies such as 3D bioprinting, augmented reality and virtual reality (AR\/VR), artificial intelligence (AI), and big data analytics.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition, the CSRC will house specialty medical offices, training centers, corporate services, childcare facilities, and retail space, making it a fully integrated environment for health professionals, researchers, and the community.<\/span><\/p>\n

Early stages going well<\/span><\/h3>\n

The first deliveries of rebar arrived on-site in September 2025. Rebar installation is now underway, starting with the foundation work. Although the project is still in its early stages, the team is right on schedule and working closely with PCL to ensure smooth execution.<\/span><\/p>\n

With 10 to 15 AGF employees currently on-site, that number is expected to rise to 25 as the project reaches peak activity in the coming year.<\/span><\/p>\n

In total, over 4,500 metric tons of rebar will be required for this project.<\/span><\/p>\n

A continued collaboration with PCL<\/span><\/h3>\n

AGF\u2019s involvement in the CSRC project is part of a broader and long-standing collaboration with PCL, built over the course of many successful projects across Canada.
