In recent weeks, the AGF Group Foundation and teams across the country have mobilized to support several important causes, once again demonstrating that social engagement is a core value at AGF.<\/p>\n

A donation that changes two lives at once – Fundraiser for Alima<\/span><\/h3>\n

At headquarters, employees\u2019 generosity provided four bins filled with food and baby supplies to Alima, the Perinatal Social Nutrition Center.
\nThese donations will help provide personalized support to pregnant women in vulnerable situations and their babies, giving the next generation a better start in life.<\/p>\n

Kitchener – Thanksgiving food drive for the Waterloo Food Bank<\/span><\/h3>\n

During this season of abundance and gratitude, the Kitchener team chose to share with those in need. Thanks to their Thanksgiving food drive, numerous donations were given to the Waterloo Food Bank to help local families.<\/p>\n

A giving Halloween for UNICEF<\/span><\/h3>\n

In Ontario, the teams in Kitchener, Markham, and Scarborough celebrated Halloween in a fun and generous way with a \u201cSpooktacular Halloween Potluck & Bake Sale\u201d!
\nBetween costumes, homemade dishes, and treats, the event raised funds for UNICEF, a global organization that advocates for children\u2019s rights.<\/p>\n

Mobilizing for 24h Tremblant<\/span><\/h3>\n

The Quebec business units went above and beyond to support the 24h Tremblant through a series of creative activities: \u201chalf-and-half\u201d Halloween events, BINGO, hockey ticket draws, \u201cBring Your Pet to Work,\u201d and even a collection of refundable cans at offices and plants. Every action helps support sick children and strengthens team spirit through acts of solidarity.<\/p>\n

Pink October: United against breast cancer<\/span><\/h3>\n

Throughout October, the Quebec office mobilized for Pink October, a campaign dedicated to breast cancer awareness, lighting up the office in pink as a sign of solidarity and hope. The proceeds were donated to the Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation.<\/p>\n

Climb Up Toronto : We climbed for a cause!<\/span><\/h3>\n

The AGF Rebar team took on the CN Tower Climb Up for United Way including a contribution from AGF Group Foundation. These funds will support United Way\u2019s community programs and help strengthen our local communities.<\/p>\n

Ottawa – Bake sale in memory of a colleague<\/span><\/h3>\n

In Ottawa, employees organized a bake sale in memory of a colleague.
\nAll funds raised were donated to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute, Canada\u2019s leading and most innovative cardiovascular health center, dedicated to research, treatment, and prevention of heart disease.<\/p>\n

These wonderful initiatives show how team spirit, social engagement, and generosity are part of AGF\u2019s DNA. Altogether, including the Foundation\u2019s matching contributions, nearly <\/span><\/strong>$15,000<\/span> has been distributed to the community.<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n
