An annual event with meaning<\/span><\/h3>\n

Each year, in Canada, Foundation Week<\/strong> is a highlight for our organization. An inspiring pause that reminds us how collective commitment can transform lives, strengthen our connections and bring even greater meaning to what we do, day after day. It is also an opportunity to shine a light on the Foundation\u2019s role, how it operates and the many ways everyone can get involved.<\/span><\/p>\n

Rolled out across the country, this week pursues three main objectives: to inspire philanthropy, introduce exceptional organizations and recognize employees who give back to their communities throughout the year. It is also a time to come together and celebrate the real impact of our actions.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mobilizing from coast to coast<\/span><\/h3>\n

Across Canada, our teams rally with creativity and heart.<\/span><\/p>\n

In Quebec, a \u201cdress down and get comfy\u201d<\/em> activity brings colleagues together in support of Let\u2019s Bond<\/em><\/a>, an organization dedicated to mental health, while a lunchtime conference with Les P\u2019tits Fr\u00e8res<\/em><\/a> raises awareness about isolation among seniors.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the Maritimes, the Rendan team partners with Habitat for Humanity<\/em><\/a> through a volunteer activity, contributing directly to the creation of safe homes for families.<\/span><\/p>\n

Out West, teams collect food donations to support the SHARE Food Bank<\/a><\/em> in Port Coquitlam. In Calgary, a toiletries drive supports Made by Momma<\/i><\/a>, a local organization that assists families facing difficult circumstances, with the presence of a representative to speak about their inspiring work.<\/span><\/p>\n

In Ontario, teams volunteer their time at the Waterloo Region Food Bank<\/em><\/a>. In London, a \u201cbring your pet to work\u201d<\/em> activity supports an organization dedicated to the well-being of abandoned animals, while 360 Kids<\/a><\/em> joins employees for a shared meal centred around a cause that touches us all: children.<\/span><\/p>\n

Recognizing commitment that makes a difference<\/span><\/h3>\n

This week is also marked by the presentation of nearly 100 recognition certificates, highlighting the remarkable dedication of employees who, throughout the year, take concrete action to support their communities. Their involvement is truly inspiring.<\/span><\/p>\n

Beyond the activities, Foundation Week reflects the essence of AGF\u2019s culture of social engagement. It showcases the strength of our teams, our ability to mobilize collectively, and our shared desire to help build a more caring and supportive world.<\/span><\/p>\n
