AGF is involved in the Gateway Towers project in Moncton, in collaboration with Lafford Properties. This development, located along the Petitcodiac River, includes two 17-storey mixed-use towers combining residential and commercial spaces. A total of between 2,000 and 2,500 metric tons of rebar will be required for this construction, which will transform Moncton\u2019s urban landscape.<\/p>\n
One of the key features of this project is the use of steel foundation piles driven more than 35 meters deep to reach stable soil. It is around these piles that AGF carried out the installation of reinforcing steel cages. This required close coordination among all stakeholders, particularly given the project\u2019s start during the winter period, which added complexity to the work.<\/p>\n
The first rebar delivery took place in January 2026. The foundations of the first tower are now complete and the first structural slabs are underway. Thanks to effective coordination with the client and the teams involved, the work is progressing according to plan.<\/p>\n
To ensure proper coordination across all stages of the project, AGF conducts regular follow-ups with the client and maintains rigorous oversight of delivery and installation activities.<\/p>\n
