New estimating procedures for AGF Du-For

In August, AGF Du-For’s technical department introduced new estimating procedures and tools to support representatives and estimators. These tools are intended to ensure uniformity in procedures and methods at all rental outlets, simplify estimating tasks, improve bid prices to make them more competitive and thereby increase the company’s sales.

The basic estimating software is currently used for more than 75% of bids and automatically calculates monthly rental costs, labour costs, including workers’ travel expenses and pensions, as well as transport and engineering costs. The tools and procedures developed range from gathering important information when responding to a bid request to evaluating project’s profitability at the end of the contract.

We are continuing to develop tools to make them even closer to reality, by integrating the company’s other products and introducing other automated portions. We will be implementing them at Steeplejack in the next few months.
