AGF Group Foundation takes to the road!

It has now been a year since the AGF Group Foundation was launched. Since then, it has taken several concrete actions, both with AGF Group employees and outside organizations.

The Foundation is proud to support one of our colleagues with a sick child.  It has also made a $500 donation to purchase a television for children admitted to the youth protection centre in the Montérégie region.

As we have said since the Foundation’s inception, one of its main aims is to encourage AGF Group employees to get actively involved in their respective communities. Our divisions and subsidiaries can thereby play a more meaningful role in the regions where they operate.

With this in mind, the members of the Foundation’s board of directors paid a visit to several of the Group’s divisions, including:

The purpose of these meetings was to introduce employees to the Foundation, its fundamentals and the way it operates, and to identify employees who are willing to serve as Foundation ambassador for their division, at the local level.

We applaud the following divisions for their prompt action in identifying their ambassadors: AGF Steel, Ecan, AGF Du-For Montreal, AGF Du-For Quebec City and Winsafe.
