Social media (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, etc.) are now part of our lives, both at work and at home.

They can provide a company with powerful leverage for raising awareness and attracting new customers. But they can also damage its brand image if they are used with poor judgment.

AGF’s reputation on the market

Since 1948, AGF has invested time in establishing a reputation and a building a relationship of trust with its customers and partners. Management therefore expects employees to act professionally and to exercise discretion and judgment when posting on social media.

Expected behaviors at AGF

To better align the use of social media, AGF has implemented a Policy on the Use of the Computer System, the Internet and Collaboration Tools. It concerns all employees and must be signed by each of them when they are hired.

In the event of a violation of the rules, the company has the authority to decide whether an apology to an individual, a client or a partner is necessary, or if a more serious disciplinary action is required.

Las redes sociales (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, etc.) son parte de la vida cotidiana, tanto en el trabajo como en la casa. Pueden ser poderosas influencias para las empresas en cuanto a notoriedad y adquisición de nuevos clientes. Sin embargo, pueden también perjudicar la imagen de la marca de una empresa si son utilizadas con un mal juicio.

Comportamientos esperados en AGF

Para alinear mejor el uso de las redes sociales, AGF implementó una Política sobre el uso del sistema informático, Internet y herramientas de colaboración. Se refiere a todos los empleados y debe ser firmado por cada uno de ellos cuando son contratados.
La empresa tiene el poder de decidir si la falta requiere excusas ante alguna persona, un cliente o una medida disciplinaria más severa.
