A New Division in British Columbia

Since the beginning of 2020, the AGF Group has opened a new division: AGF – Reinforcing BC Inc., whose objective is to gain market shares in the unionized reinforcing steel sector and thereby strengthen the presence of the AGF Group in Western Canada.

Led by Roger Lussier – General Manager, the team also includes Pete Hayes – Superintendent, and Randy Sangoo – Senior Estimator,  Kaitlynn Francis – Health and Safety Coordinator and David Webb – Detailer Project Manager.

AGF – Reinforcing BC Inc. currently operates from an office based in Surrey. But they’re planning to move to a new place to install a shop by December 2020 / January 2021. In the meantime, our COBRA division, based in Chilliwack, can help AGF – Reinforcing BC Inc. execute their projects by providing them up to 300 mt of rebar per month. And our shop based in Calgary can supply around 1000 mt per month.  

Today, AGF – Reinforcing BC Inc. is managing the site crews at the Highway 29 project (see our article last month) in collaboration with our Alberta office. The team is also bidding on new projects in British Columbia.

Une nueva división

Desde inicios del año 2020, Grupo AGF cuenta con una nueva división: AGF Reinforcing BC Inc, cuyo objetivo es conquistar las partes de mercado en el sector sindicalizado de acero de refuerzo y reforzar así la presencia del Grupo en el oeste de Canadá.

Dirigido por Roger Lussier, Director General, el equipo está compuesto también por Pete Hayes, Superintendente de obra, y Randy Santoyo, Estimador principal, y debería consolidarse en los próximos meses.

AGF Reinforcing BC Inc. opera actualmente a partir de unas oficinas simples en Surrey, pero se prevé una mudanza en diciembre 2020-enero 2021 con la instalación de una fábrica de producción. Mientras tanto esta división, puede contar con la ayuda de nuestra división COBRA, basada en Chilliwack, la cual puede suministrar hasta 300 t de acero por mes, y de nuestra fábrica basada en Calgary para aproximadamente 1000 t por mes.

Hoy en día, AGF Reinforcing BC Inc. administra los equipos de la obra de la autopista 29 (consulte nuestro artículo del mes pasado) en colaboración con nuestras oficinas en Alberta, y licita para nuevos proyectos en Colombia Británica.
