AGF Group has been wanting to establish itself in Nova Scotia for some time, and it’s now done!
It is with excitement that we announce the arrival of Rendan Fabricators Ltd. within the great AGF Group family, in April 2023.
Rendan is a well-established company that has been working in the field of reinforcing steel since 1970 near Halifax.
We share the same values, the same vision and the same sense of rigor and quality in the execution of our tasks and in the level of service provided to customers. Joining their entity to ours therefore seemed obvious to us.
Our new colleagues have shined in many projects such as:
- Nuttby Mountain Wind Farm, 22 turbine bases, 1130 Tons, 2010.
- Eastern Passage Wastewater Treatment Plant, 1260 Tons, 2011.
- Citadel Hotel Redevelopment, two 15 storey hotels & 18 storey apartment building, 1830 Tons, 2012-2013.
- The Interchange (apartment building) : 2650 Tons, 18 more months to completion.
- CBRH Clinical Service Building (hospital addition in Cape Breton) : 1600 Tons, 18 more months to completion.
This is really great news for them and for us. By joining us, the Rendan team will benefit from the support of our head office for corporate services.
And the AGF Group will be able to benefit from the reputation of this company, recognized for the excellence of its work in its region.
The entire Rendan team remains in place for the continuation of activities, under the leadership of Joey MacEachran. The business unit also keeps its name, and will report to Charles Chebl – Senior Vice President Execution of the AGF Group.

Grupo AGF adquiere la empresa Rendan
Desde hace cierto tiempo Grupo AGF deseaba abrirse camino en Nueva Escocia ¡y lo ha logrado!
En efecto, es con gran entusiasmo que anunciamos la llegada de Rendan Fabricators Ltd. a la gran familia de Grupo AGF durante este mes de abril de 2023. Rendan es una empresa bien establecida que opera en el sector del acero de refuerzo desde la década de los años setenta cerca de Halifax.
Compartimos los mismos valores, la misma visión y el mismo sentido del rigor de la calidad en la ejecución de nuestras tareas para el servicio a la clientela. Por consiguiente, la unión de su entidad con la nuestra nos parecía evidente.
Nuestros nuevos colegas han destacado en numerosos proyectos como:
- “The Interchange” (edificio de apartamentos): 2650 t, finalización en 18 meses;
- Edificio de servicios clínicos CBRH (adición de un hospital en Cap-Breton): 1600 t, finalización en 18 meses;
- Central eólica de Nuttby Mountain: 22 bases de turbinas, 1130 t, 2010;
- Planta de tratamiento de aguas residuales del paso oeste: 1260 t, 2011;
- Remodelación del hotel Citadel: dos hoteles de 15 pisos y un edificio de apartamentos de 18 pisos, 1830 t, 2012-2013.
Es una gran noticia para ellos y para nosotros. Al unirse a nosotros, el equipo de Rendan contará con el apoyo de nuestra sede social en lo referente a los servicios corporativos. Grupo AGF, por su parte, podrá beneficiarse de la reputación de esta empresa, reconocida por la excelencia de su trabajo en esta región.
Todo el equipo de Rendan actualmente en funciones mantendrá su lugar y continuará con sus actividades bajo la dirección de Joey MacEachran. La unidad de negocios conservará igualmente su nombre y estará a cargo de Charles Chebl, Vicepresidente principal de explotaciones de Grupo AGF.
