Valley Line Light Rail Train

Marigold Infrastructure Partners is building the 14-km Valley Line West Light Rail Transit (LRT) running from Downtown Edmonton to Lewis Farms.

The AGF Rebar Inc. team in Calgary is proud to have been chosen for several aspects of this ambitious project. We’ve been working on the site for about a year, and our work will continue until 2026.

To date, our work includes the Anthony Henday LRT Bridge, caissons, barrier end treatments, shafts and track slab along the entire length of the project, for a total of around 5,000 metric tons of steel.
Coordinating such a project from Calgary requires close collaboration with various unions, both in Calgary and Edmonton. This coordination is essential to ensure that work proceeds smoothly and on schedule.

For Edmonton, this project is of particular importance, greatly improving connectivity between downtown Edmonton and Lewis Farms.

As a company involved in this initiative, AGF Rebar Inc. is proud to contribute to the creation of an infrastructure that will benefit the community for many years to come.
