Recently, the AGF business unit in Guadeloupe (Armapress) participated in 3 great projects:
Tennis Court at Bas du Fort, Le Gosier
This project involves the construction of tennis courts and the associated buildings to host larger-scale tournaments in the region, including ATP 250 competitions. Work began in November 2024 and was completed by mid-February 2025. The project required 60 tons of reinforcing steel, ensuring a durable infrastructure.
Village artisanal du Souffleur in Port Louis
Located just 100 meters from the beach, this complex consists of nine buildings inspired by traditional architecture, providing permanent spaces for businesses dedicated to crafts, bicycle rentals, and restaurants. Construction began in December 2024 and was completed two weeks ahead of schedule by the end of January 2025 and used a total of 40 tons of reinforcing steel. This successful outcome was achieved despite recruitment challenges due to the site’s remote location and lack of public transportation.
48-Housing Project in Les Abymes
This residential complex consists of 35 individual and semi-detached homes for families, as well as a collective building with 13 apartments designed for seniors. One key feature of this project is the use of prefabricated slabs, allowing for faster and more efficient installation. By using 157 tons of reinforcing steel, this project is carried out in collaboration with AGF Tecnik to optimize the entire operation. Construction began in August 2024 and is expected to be completed in April 2025.
These three projects highlight AGF’s commitment to building modern, functional infrastructures tailored to the specific needs of the regions where they are built.
