A high-profile project delivered with rigour
In the Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean region, Rio Tinto’s AP-60 site is one of the most ambitious industrial projects in the area. The team of detailers and the shop employees at AGF Rebar in Québec brought their expertise to the project with dedication, working closely with our installation partner, Armatures EB.
This strategic partnership has proven its worth, as Le Quotidien highlights the site’s first demobilization and the exemplary professionalism of all teams involved:

Exemplary health & safety management
On a site as tightly regulated as AP-60, health and safety standards rank among the toughest in the industry. Under the leadership of our Health & Safety Manager, Julie Trépanier, Armatures EB and AGF Rebar in Québec met these high benchmarks with unwavering rigour. We ensured a high-quality work environment from day one until completion of this phase through strict adherence to procedures, seamless coordination with partners and a shared commitment to best practices.
Thanks to our teams and partners
This project once again highlights the strength of our network: A smooth collaboration between our internal teams and trusted partners like Armatures EB, who uphold our standards even from afar.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Kiewit for their trust throughout the project. Congratulations to AGF Rebar in Québec, Armatures EB and all those who contributed to this major first phase of the AP-60 site. This collective success is at the heart of how we build, with rigour, collaboration and a steadfast commitment to excellence.
