Position Overview:
Reporting to the Estimating Manager, the Senior Rebar Estimator, based anywhere in Ontario, will be responsible for estimating the rebar requirements for multiple construction projects (commercial, residential, and infrastructure) across the province.

Role and Responsibilities:
- Analyze project documents to prepare accurate costs and rebar estimates
- Perform takeoffs for reinforcing bars needed on projects based on provided documents
- Estimate labor, equipment, and materials required for each project
- Develop project schedules and provide total budget costs
- Communicate with clients, detailing, and sales teams to ensure accurate estimates
- Prepare and submit documents to the General Manager for final pricing and approval
- Participate in pre-tender award meetings, management meetings, and staff meetings
- Perform any other duties as required
Qualifications:
- College diploma in civil engineering, estimating, or drafting
- 5 to 7 years of estimating experience
- 3 to 5 years of experience estimating rebar projects (essential)
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Autonomy, creativity, and flexibility
- High level of organization
- Excellent communication skills
