The Rion–Antirion bridge measures 2,880 m in length from end to end and 28 m in width. It is considered to have the longest continuous, cable-stayed, fully suspended deck in the world. It crosses the Gulf of Corinth near Patras, linking the town of Rio on the Peloponnese peninsula to Antirrio on mainland Greece.
