Catherine Gendron, Chief Culture and Governance at AGF Group, embodies boldness by taking part in the Les Audacieuses Challenge in support of Leucan. She has committed to shaving her head and raising $60,000 to support children with cancer. Courageous, generous, and inspiring, she is making a powerful gesture for a cause close to her heart, and encouraging those around her to get involved as well.
Leucan: At the Heart of Support for Children with Cancer
For over 40 years, Leucan has supported children in Quebec who have cancer, along with their families, by providing essential services and funding clinical research.
Each year, around 300 children in Quebec undergo a long treatment journey, typically lasting two years, often marked by hair loss. That’s why the Shaved Head Challenge carries so much meaning: it symbolizes solidarity, empathy, and hope for these children.
A Wave of Solidarity
To support Catherine and Leucan, a wave of solidarity is sweeping through our business units across Canada, with multiple fundraising initiatives: head and beard shaving challenges, 50/50 draws, a poker tournament, a marathon, and many more activities!
These initiatives demonstrate just how much team spirit and collective commitment can make a difference. Together, we can help Leucan continue its mission and provide a brighter future for children with cancer.
A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for your involvement and generosity. And a special shout-out to Catherine for her inspiring commitment!
