On March 14, 2025, I had the honor of attending, alongside Maxime Gendron, President and CEO, the presentation of the Community Leader Award, given to AGF Group by the Canadian Construction Association (CCA).
The room was full, gathering construction industry leaders from across Canada for the CCA’s annual congress. What a privilege to receive this recognition here in Quebec, where AGF’s story began!
Building a lasting impact, together.
“We work in construction. We love seeing what we build, we’re proud of it, and we show it to our children, our family. But what we don’t see is the social fabric of a community we help build, and it’s important to highlight that.” – excerpt from Maxime’s speech.
For over 12 years, the AGF Group Foundation has been committed to supporting communities, promoting mutual aid, and creating a positive and lasting impact. Thanks to the involvement of AGF employees and partners across the country, over 4.5 million dollars have been donated to Canadian organizations, and more than 750 initiatives have been launched.
This CCA award recognizes our collective commitment and the importance of building not only sustainable infrastructures but also strong communities. We hope our story will inspire other companies to get involved, invest in their communities, and make a real difference.
This award is a great recognition of the work accomplished and also a motivation to go even further.
Congratulations to the entire AGF team for this well-deserved recognition!
