A first edition fueled by solidarity
On April 23, three teams from the AGF Group put on their aprons to take part in La Grande Marmite, a large-scale culinary initiative organized by La Tablée des Chefs. This inspiring event, in its very first edition, aimed to tackle food insecurity head-on by bringing the community together around a challenge that was both meaningful and delicious.
40,000 ready-to-cook soups for youth in need
Alongside more than 1,200 participants, including around thirty public figures, volunteers joined forces to prepare 40,000 dry soup kits. These nutritious meals will be distributed in elementary schools located in underprivileged areas, through the Soupes Solidaires program, reaching over one million children across Quebec.
Fundraising at the heart of the mission
In addition to cooking, each AGF team committed to raising $1,500, contributing to an impressive total of $450,000. The entire amount will go directly to supporting the educational and social mission of La Tablée des Chefs, which works daily to reduce food insecurity throughout Quebec.
Values that simmer at AGF
Our participation truly reflects the core values of the AGF Group Foundation: Solidarity, community involvement and lasting impact. We are proud to have been, an ingredient for CHANGE, alongside all the other volunteers.
Thank you to our dedicated teams
A heartfelt thank you to all AGF team members for their commitment, generosity and enthusiasm. Once again, you’ve shown that our collective solidarity can turn ideas into real, impactful actions.
