The Foundation’s activities

All of AGF’s divisions are rallying behind the Foundation to help the community.

Here’s an overview of the activities presented in recent weeks:

Scarborough
The Scarborough team held a big potluck meal on Monday, July 4. Plant employees and people from the Markham office joined us to sample dishes from all over the world. A great culinary journey for a good cause!

Calgary 

The Calgary team hosted a big potluck meal with help from our ambassador Shawn Gordon in June. Everyone had a great time as they mingled and enjoyed food from their respective cultures. We raised much more than expected.

London 

Our ambassador Salome Koruthu is working hard to organize fundraising events across Ontario. Recently, a 50/50 draw was held in London, with all proceeds going to Camp Awakening.

There was also a big fundraiser with a candy sale at the London plant.

Kitchener and London

In early June, a fundraiser was held at a site luncheon for the AGF Rebar team, who are doing remarkable work on the Finch West station in Toronto. They raised $500. Way to go!
