A look back at AGF’s 2011 golf tournament

On September 10, a warm fall day, some 70 players teed off on at La Madeleine golf course in Sainte-Madeleine.

In the morning, the participants practiced various techniques during a short training session taught by golf professionals. They learned more about the art of putting, the approach shot and the full swing.

As they made their way through the course, the golfers encountered various challenges, such as two hole-in-one par 3 contests. The prize? A Ford Mustang GT convertible and $200,000 in cash. Unfortunately, no one managed to pull it off.

After a fun round of Vegas-style golf, the players enjoyed a great meal followed by an awards ceremony and draws for numerous prizes donated by our generous sponsors.

The lucky winners of the 2011 AGF golf tournament were Vincent Dequoy (Hydro Mobile), Benoit Duplessis (Hydro Mobile), Mark Clark (AGF Group) and Maxime Gendron (AGF Steel Longueuil). They ended the day with a par -4. Congratulations to the victors and to all participants.
