AGF Rebar, Scarborough gets COR certified by IHSA

Fabulous results appear over time. It is a combination of perseverance, consistency, hardwork, patience and teamwork that leads to magnificent success.

The Health and Safety team is immensely delighted to share with the whole team at AGF that the Scarborough branch has been certified with Certificate of Recognition (COR) by the Infrastructure Health and Safety Association (IHSA). The COR Audit is an external third party audit that reviews AGF’s conformance with industry health & safety management systems (HSMS). It is a nationally recognized safety audit which displays our commitment to health & safety. 

AGF Rebar, Scarborough has secured a massive 87%! 

This portrays how well we have stood in accomplishing and maintaining the Health and Safety Management System at AGF Scarborough.

“The strength of the team is each individual member, and the strength of each individual member is the team.” This significant achievement would have been unfeasible without the dynamic participation of all the employees at Scarborough. On this note, we would like to thank the Senior Management for their constant support and guidance and each shop and office employee at Scarborough for their active involvement at various levels for the preparation and presentation for the COR audit.

This victory is for sure a significant achievement and has set a milestone at AGF! Attaining and being recognized for having the required Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS) brings with it huge motivation and responsibility to sustain such high standards at the organization.

¡Los resultados fabulosos surgen con el tiempo! Es una combinación de perseverancia, constancia, trabajo arduo, paciencia y trabajo de equipo lo que han llevado a este maravilloso éxito.

El equipo de Salud y Seguridad tiene el placer de compartir con todo el equipo de AGF que la sucursal de Scarborough obtuvo el Certificado de Reconocimiento (COR) del organismo “Health and Safety Association (IHSA)”. La auditoría COR es una auditoría externa realizada por un tercero, la cual examina la conformidad de AGF con los sistemas de gestión de salud y seguridad (HSMS) de la industria. Se trata de una auditoría de seguridad reconocida a nivel nacional que es un testimonio de nuestro compromiso con respecto a la salud y seguridad.

Esto demuestra hasta qué punto hemos logrado implementar y mantener el sistema de gestión de salud y seguridad en AGF en Scarborough.

Esta importante realización no hubiese sido posible sin la participación de todos los empleados de Scarborough. El hecho de haber obtenido la certificación y de ser reconocido por tener el sistema de gestión de salud y seguridad en el trabajo requerido aporta una enorme motivación y nos responsabiliza en el mantenimiento de normas muy elevadas en la organización.
