Initially specialized in estimating and detailing, the AGF Tecnik team now supports AGF business units around the world with expertise that also extends to software development, robotics, BIM and various technical and administrative support services.
This growth is based as much on the expertise developed over the years as on the trust and collaboration built with teams across AGF Group.
As AGF Tecnik continues to evolve, strong communication between teams will remain essential. Clear expectations, honest feedback and open dialogue allow Tecnik and the business units it supports to improve together, as one large AGF team.
Tecnik’s contribution continues to grow. According to Dalia Moawad, Technical Director at AGF Rebar in Ontario, nearly 80% of Ontario’s detailing backlog was assigned to Tecnik in the first quarter of 2026.
Today, the organization has more than 150 detailers and 40 estimators supporting AGF teams across different markets.
Beyond the volume of work, this growth reflects the trust placed in Tecnik and its ability to adapt to the needs of different business units.
Over the past few years, AGF Tecnik’s detailing division has significantly increased its capacity, completing several hundred thousand tonnes of detailing work.

Tecnik’s Estimating division has also experienced significant growth. Today, the organization has more than 40 estimators and 150 detailers.

Tecnik’s contribution now extends well beyond estimating and technical drawing.
Its teams participate in initiatives aimed at improving productivity and supporting AGF’s operations.
This includes work in collaborative robotics, the development of internal software solutions and 3D modelling applied to reinforcing steel operations.
The objective is simple: find better ways to work and develop tools that can support AGF teams in their daily activities.
