You can’t stop progress… !
You will certainly hear me say it again often since it is my “moto“.
In this month of June 2023, it is quite appropriate because AGF reaches a beautiful new milestone.
Indeed, I am happy and moved to announce that I am officially passing the torch to Maxime Gendron, Eng. FIC who now assumes the position of President of the AGF Group inc.
The AGF adventure also continues for me, now as Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors.
Maxime – with AGF for 20 years – brings extensive experience and fresh perspective to the role of President. He has held several key positions within the Group, including those of Project Manager, Vice President of Ontario Operations and Chief Operating Officer.
Recently, he told me that it was a great pride for him to take on this new role and to continue the legacy of his father and grandfather by relying on our corporate culture and values.
He is surrounded by a solid team of managers and reinforcing steel experts. With them, and thanks to his vision and his passion, he will take the company to the next level.
For my part, by remaining active in the company, I retain my strategic role on the international side, on acquisition projects, as well as through my involvement in the ESG program.
Furthermore, I remain President of the AGF Group Foundation, which is so dear to me.
Under Maxime’s leadership, our wonderful team remains committed to providing our customers with the highest quality of reinforcing steel solutions and to creating value for its stakeholders.
We wish him a lot of fun and success in his new position!
