Office Expansion in India

In June 2018, we opened the AGF Tecnik office in Thanjavur, India. The initial objective was to assist Canadian divisions in estimating and detailing rebar projects.

In just one year, our team worked on more than 193 projects in collaboration with the various business units.

Since the team of 38 technicians and engineers quickly met its annual objectives and the number of projects grew at a steady pace, the need for additional space to accommodate more staff was quickly felt.

New offices were inaugurated on July 8 and have already welcomed new colleagues.

The team currently consists of 51 employees, including 8 women, and includes 31 detailers, 6 estimators and several trainees. We look forward to continuing our expansion!

We remind you that all Canadian AGF Group Inc. business units (steel sector) can take advantage of the detailing and estimation skills of the AGF Tecnik team to support them in their projects.
