Navy Lane project in Halifax

AGF is proud to contribute to the construction of Navy Lane, a contemporary condominium building located in Halifax, in partnership with our local business unit, Rendan. The name of the project refers to a path leading directly to the nearby naval base.

This project presents several challenges: 

• Adapting to local construction standards.
• Limited space on a highly trafficked site.
• Logistical constraints. 

An initial learning phase allowed our teams to adapt effectively, ensuring a smooth progression of the work.

The project requires 705 metric tons of reinforcing steel. After the crane base was installed in March, the structural work is now underway. AGF is expected to remain on-site until September 2025, with a team rotating between Halifax and Quebec, and a gradual increase in the number of AGF professionals on-site as the project progresses.

This building will be a beautiful addition to the local panorama.
